As with every race that seems to be slipping away, the GOP attacks are getting seemingly more desperate. I am not saying anything bad about this tactic. When your message is lost, which is seems to be for McCain, you just through a bunch of mud against the wall, and hope something grabs hold. Obama, would likely do the same thing if the roles were reversed. I would be shocked if he didn't. I do not agree with the GOP platform, or their politicians, but yesterday when McCain stopped a woman that was calling Obama an Arab, I was proud of him. It would have been enough for him to just not reply and take the mike. It isn't his responsibility to shoot down the Whacko elements of his party. But he defended Obama against a racist attack. I guess racist, as Arab isnt' a race, or a religion, I am not sure what kind of attack it was, other than false and hate filled. Dudes dad was from Kenya. Ahhhh! Okay, just a quick recap of life today because.. It has been, and will be a VAIR busy week for self. =( I have recently found a new form of income! Goodbye manual labour, dealing with crazy foreign mothers who want refunds, answering to a perfectionist boss & Hello General Knowledge Trivia competitions at the Cottage @ UNI!!! These competitions are held every week, and entry is FREE! First prize is $60!! (ZOMG!!!!) & Second prize is $40! Still equally as impressive in the eyes of the unemployed.. Anywho a small group of us entered the competition on Wednesday and, you guessed it.. WON FIRST PRIZE!! Mmm.. nothing like the feeling of sweet, sweet cash in my phalanges.. I know first prize is 60 big ones.. but we did have to divide it.. So it was more like $15.. But still! Free money is free money! I figure if I win EVERY week, I won't have to look for a job anymore?! LOLOL. I've been really busy this week doing stuff for Uni & other life tasks. One of which is... (more)
